The Rainer Sauer vineyard in Franconian Volkach is a renowned expert when it comes to Silvaner - for example, with the best land in the premium wine-growing region Escherndorfer Lump. This is where the grapes for the Edition Dallmayr come from. The wine is characterised by its great balance of fruitiness, freshness and minerality; hints of yellow plums and quince as well as a fine flavour of Muschelkalk are carried by an elegant acidity. This fine Silvaner goes perfectly with fish, cheese and vegetables.
