Sacha Jafri “Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto – Japan” Limited Edition Print

For each of the twelve original motifs from the "UNESCO World Heritage Sites Collection", which Jafri applied to aircraft skin exclusively for Worldshop before adding his unique layer, an additional 120 art prints were produced. This resulted in extraordinary collector's items that show Jafri's characteristic brushwork. These limited edition prints are individually numbered.

About the painting "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto - Japan"

Built in A.D. 794 on the model of the capitals of ancient China, Kyoto was the imperial capital of Japan from its foundation until the middle of the 19th century. As the centre of Japanese culture for more than 1,000 years, Kyoto illustrates the development of Japanese wooden architecture, particularly religious architecture, and the art of Japanese gardens, which has influenced landscape gardening the world over.
